Macquarie College is the place that I spend most of my time at mid-week. It is a K-12 SDA school that has about 700 students. The coolest thing about the school is that about 80% aren’t christian yet are having a chance to learn about the Bible and hear some pretty awesome messages!
I’m pretty much out and about, I don’t really have an official title while I am there. Most of the kids call me just “Ryan” but some of the little kids call me “Pastor Ryan”… which makes me laugh every time (can any of you imagine Pastor Ryan??). The students are great! Most of the Charlestown youth go to Macquarie so it is a good chance for me to connect with them during the week. The staff are amazingly cool with me just hanging out / helping and even let me at times teach the classes (ok, it happened once so far and the kids have never been the same since!).
